My background is in urban planning but after getting engaged in early 2018 I have developed somewhat of an obsession with venue decor! Being as thorough as I am, I spent hour upon hour researching venue decor and the pros and cons of hiring versus buying. It was through this that I realised that there was a gap in the market in the area for more luxe decor to hire.
Consequently, I decided to take the daunting but exciting step of starting up my own decor hire business, specialising in affordable luxury and thus Sumptuous Styling was born!
How do we work?
Our decor is hired out on a Do it Yourself basis. This means that items are collection only (excluding those which individually state that they require delivery and set up) and the set-up of the items is left to you. This is perfect for you if you want to be hands on with the dressing of your venue. As we do not deliver, set-up and collect the vast majority of our hire items, this means that our hire prices are lower as we do not need to account for the cost of providing such a service.
You can collect your items from us on the Thursday before your wedding and they must be returned by the Monday immediately afterwards.
We are based in Peterborough and are therefore readily accessible from Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland and Norfolk.
